'Nothing Is Sound' achieves Gold status |

San Diego, Calif.-based Switchfoot's Nothing Is Sound has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) one month after its Sept. 13 release. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 best-elling albums chart after selling 131,000 true sales in the first week. RIAA-certified Gold status marks 500,000 copies sold since the album's release.
The band, which performed on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, has logged 20 sold-out dates on its current tour that began Oct. 17.
