Charles Dorris, vice president and head of Christian music at the William Morris Agency in Nashville, will begin a two-year term as chairman of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Board of Directors on Tuesday.

A native of Nashville, Dorris has worked as a booking agent in gospel music for more than 20 years, including the last 12 years at William Morris. Artists he works with include Jaci Velasquez, Kirk Franklin and Joy Williams.
