Rick Welke, former Christian editor for Radio & Records magazine, has launched The Passion Group, a consulting firm for radio stations, record labels and other organizations.

The main focus of the company is to help Christian radio stations and artists gain more ground in impacting the general market, he said.

"My passion is to see Christian radio and artists of faith flourish inside of today's music culture," Welke explained. "I believe The Passion Group can help others put into practice simple, yet direct business strategies to impact whatever target group they are seeking to influence."
