Logos Bookstores will be celebrating their 30th anniversary since the formation of their member-owned trade association at the CBA International Convention in Atlanta this year. The not-for-profit organization formed in 1974 when owners and managers of Logos Bookstores decided that they could accomplish more if they banded together and worked cooperatively on projects that were too costly or time-consuming to do on their own. Although each store remains locally owned and managed, the association office provides consumer catalogs, manager training, on-site store consulting, an annual manager's conference held prior to CBA International and several other services.
The Association of Logos Bookstores is headquartered in Kent, Ohio, and serves more than thirty independent Christian bookstores across the U.S., Canada and the Bahamas.
