CBA has added Christian retail channel leader George Thomsen and Christian publishing veteran Eric King to its 11-member board of directors.
Manager of The Harvest Store, Harvest Christian Fellowship’s church bookstore in Riverside, Calif., Thomsen—who is currently serving on the board as retailer director—was elected to a new three-year term.
Thomsen, who received a CBA Store of the Year Award for his store in 2007 and the 2008 CBA Church Bookstore of the Year Award, was scheduled to serve through Sept. 30 after being appointed by the board late last year to fill the seat vacated when Brent Pennington moved his store out of the Christian retail channel to support his developing import business, the booksellers’ trade association announced.
Elected to a three-year term as publisher director, King has served as CEO/treasurer of Warner Press for the last 10 years. He has served as president for the last six years, working at Warner Press for 17 years.
The appointments were made during a recent CBA board meeting. |
