The Christian Music Trade Association (CMTA) has named EMI CMG Distribution Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Greg Bays as chairman of the board of directors to the sister organization of the Gospel Music Association. He assumes the role from Provident-Integrity Distribution executive Don Noes, who retired from the company July 31. Bays, who has served as chairman-elect since Noes' retirement, will have a two-year term.
CMTA has also added several other board of directors, including Randy Davis, vice president of CBA sales for Provident-Integrity; Bryant Scott, president of Tyscot Records, the nation's oldest African-American gospel label; and Scott Wagner, senior vice president of Crossroads Entertainment & Marketing, which sells and distributes products in the Southern gospel and bluegrass markets. |
