(Thomas Nelson Publishers) was recently recognized with three Communicator Awards, which honors creative excellence for communications professionals with more than 8,500 entries submitted this year.

The audio Bible received Award of Excellence Gold Communicator statuettes in the "Inspirational" and "Sound Design" production categories. The Word of Promise's original music score was also recognized with an Award of Distinction Silver Communicator statuette in the "Music" category.

Additionally, The Word of Promise New Testament won Christian Book of the Year at the 2008 ECPA Book Awards during last month's International Christian Retail Show, marking the first time an audio project has received the honor.

The Word of Promise New Testament Audio Bible also won a 2008 Christian Retailing Retailers Choice Award, sharing the Audio category with Inspired By… The Bible Experience: The Complete Bible (Zondervan).

Released last fall, The Word of Promise New Testament Audio Bible is a 20-hour, 20-CD, diverse, star-studded, dramatic audio Bible production of the New Testament. Thomas Nelson said that its The Word of Promise audio project was the top-selling Bible at Christian retail in the fourth quarter of 2007.
