Group Publishing has named a new president and created several new business units, the company announced.

Rocky Gilmore, who has served as chief operating officer at Group, has been appointed president of Group Publishing.

"Rocky's depth of experience, track record with Group and abundant organizational and leadership skills have prepared him well for these new, expanded responsibilities," Group founder and chairman Thom Schultz said.

Additionally, the company's new units are based on growing market segments and will serve children's ministry, youth ministry, women's ministry and church leadership.

The changes will align various products and services under distinct ministry areas. For example, the new youth ministry unit will incorporate youth ministry magazines, newsletters, books, electronic resources, conferences and training events.

Tim Gilmour will now serve as chief operating officer over the new business units for children's ministry, youth ministry and church leadership. This includes Group's Colorado ministry-specific operations as well as its California unit, Simply Youth Ministry.

Joel Fay will be chief operating officer in charge of Group's youth service camps and the new Lifetree Adventures, which offers "voluntours" combining a vacation with faith-based service in locations around the world.
