ChristianTrade Association International (CTAI) has announced that more than 25 suppliers plan to attend Marketsquare Asia 2008, to be held Sept. 7-9 in Hong Kong.

Major U.S. publishers such as Thomas Nelson Publishers, Tyndale House Publishers and Zondervan as well as international companies have committed to the event.

Delegates from more than 15 countries are expected to attend Marketsquare, including more than 30 mainland Chinese publishers coming for the first time thanks to scholarships from the Global Publishers Alliance, the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's sister organization.

Nearly 60 Christian retailers from mainland China will also be able to attend the event through offerings taken at this month's International Christian Retail Show, CTAI officials said. Marketsquare Asia will be held in conjunction with the Korea Christian Rights Fair, to be held Sept. 4-5 in Seoul, Korea.
