Oasis Audio will release surprise best-selling novel The Shack (Windblown Media) in audiobook format, July 1. The book that has climbed to the top of the New York Times best-seller list will be read by Roger Mueller, who appeared in the audio series "Left Behind" and has narrated several books, including Randy Alcorn's Deception.

"We've been watching The Shack with interest for months, and it just continues to gain momentum," said Dan Balow, publisher of Oasis Audio. "We have worked closely with Windblown Media to ensure that the audio edition captures the essence of the message and feel of the book."

The unabridged audiobook will run 8-1/2 hours on seven CDs and will retail for $27.99. It will begin shipping to retailers June 20.
