The Christian Writers Guild (CWG) has announced that it will host its Christian Communicators Seminar during the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's Christian Book Expo (CBE), debuting in Dallas, March 20-22 next year. CWG hopes to reach avid readers at the consumer-focused event, intended to help expand awareness among the general public of Christian books. "Book reading and book writing go hand-in-hand," said CWG owner Jerry B. Jenkins, co-author of the "Left Behind" series. "We believe the Christian Book Expo will be a great place for us to connect with writers." Some of the topics for the CWG sessions include fiction, nonfiction, creativity, speaking and magazine writing.
ECPA President Mark Kuyper said: "the guild's presence helps us present an expanded view of the publishing process. This is one more opportunity for CBE to connect readers with the authors and books they love."
