Integra Interactive has announced that its myMEDIA BurnBar system kiosk system has surpassed burning 25,000 accompaniment tracks.

The system enables shoppers to select music CDs, accompaniment tracks, audiobooks, video games and Bible software and have the products burned to CD or DVD in Christian bookstores.

"We had a slow start after beginning to burn CDs on June 1," explained David Amster, Integra's chief innovation officer. "The first month, we only had 46 of the sites up and running. While we were continuing to sell more systems, it wasn't until October that we actually had over 100 locations operational."

Integra has sold the myMEDIA BurnBar system kiosk system to nearly 250 retailers. "This is putting retailers back in the game," Amster said. "It is very cost-effective with most retailers seeing a 15%-27% rise in their sales. More significantly, it's being done without any associated inventory stocking costs."

Integra is the Christian retail channel's largest provider of shopper touchpoint systems with nearly 675 retailers using more than 1,500 interactive shopper screens, company officials said.
