Pastor and author Michael Youssef recently spoke during the Good News Peace Festival at the National Theatre of the Emirates in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Joshua Youssef, vice president of the TV and radio show Leading the Way With Dr. Michael Youssef, said that it was perhaps "the first time an Islamic state has allowed a Christian evangelist to use a government-owned facility to present his message."

The festival was held in late October with an additional event held at the Arabic Evangelical Church of Dubai, according to officials of Michael Youssef's ministry.

"This was an unprecedented opportunity of sharing the good news with many people from tens of countries in that unique part of the world," said Michael Youssef, pastor of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta and author of several books, including Discover the Power of One: Make Your Life Count (FaithWords).
