'Sex God' among Top 100 Books of the Year Print Email

has named Sex God: Exploring the Endless Connections Between Sexuality and Spirituality by Rob Bell (Zondervan) among its Top 100 Books of the Year.

Announced last week, the best books list covers several categories, including fiction, poetry, nonfiction, comics, religion, lifestyle and children's. Besides Sex God, other Christian books that were recognized in the religion category were Caring for Mother: A Daughter's Long Good-Bye by Virginia Stem Owens (Westminster John Knox) and Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy by Donald Kraybill, Steven Nolt and David Weaver-Zercher (Jossey-Bass).

The top books in the religious fiction category were Feeling for Bones by Bethany Pierce (Moody Publishers), Quaker Summer by Lisa Samson (Thomas Nelson Publishers) and Saving Erasmus by Steven Cleaver (Paraclete Press).
