John Lennox, author of God's Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? (Monarch Books, October), will debate his Oxford University colleague and noted atheist Richard Dawkins Oct. 3 at the Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham, Ala., according to Kregel Publications.

Lennox will argue for the scientific evidence of God found in the universe against Dawkins, a spokesman for "New Atheism" and author of The God Delusion (Houghton Mifflin).

Lennox has lectured on the interface of science, philosophy and theology in many universities around the world, including Austria and the former Soviet Union.

The God Delusion Debate will also be broadcast via the Moody Broadcasting Network, www.mbn.org, and its affiliates. For more information on the debate, visit www.fixed-point.org
