A Christian book about online safety for children is being spotlighted as an important parental resource by the popular Internet community site myspace.com

MySpace, MyKids by Jason Illian is recommended at the myspace.com safety tips page that warns users to be cautious about what they post online. The book was published by Harvest House in February.

Illian said that he was grateful that his book is being highlighted. "My goal with this book is to protect young people and educate parents so they can help their kids use MySpace in a positive way. The fact that MySpace.com wants to partner with that goal is fantastic and really speaks to their genuine care and concern for the safety and security of children."

In addition to explaining to adults how MySpace works, Illian's book sets out how parents can talk with their children about online activity and track what they do.
