Three former U.S. presidents were expected today to help dedicate the new Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, N.C., which will include a bookstore. The 40,000-square-foot building depicts the life of the longtime evangelist and is designed to inspire visitors of the ongoing outreach of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, ministry officials said.

The library will also be the repository for Graham's personal papers, including his correspondence and sermon manuscripts. Former President George H.W. Bush was scheduled to deliver the keynote address for the dedication. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter were also to take part in the ceremony.

The library's bookstore—named Ruth's Attic, after Graham's wife, Ruth Bell—will feature gifts and Christian literature as well as a cafe. The Billy Graham Library is scheduled to open June 5. Admission will be free.
