Vocatio Publishing House's Family Bible was recently selected as the 2007 European Christian Book of the Year during the Christian Trade Association International's (CTAI) Marketsquare Europe in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

“To receive this award is a wonderful surprise in the middle of a time of celebration by our family because of my wife, Bozena's, recent cancer recovery,” said Piotr Waclawik, president of Vocatio Publishing House in Poland.

Other finalists were the Youth Bible published by Jongbloed Publishers in the Netherlands and Sheep Tales from Editions Farel in France.

Twenty-four countries were represented among the 202 attendees at this year's Marketsquare Europe event, April 11-13, which included publisher and bookstore workshops, inspirational sessions, and a trade exhibition.

CTAI is a worldwide organization of companies and individuals that seek to grow the Christian trade worldwide.
