Gospel Light Services (GLS), one of the largest contract distributors in the Christian book market, has completed its transition to Pubnet, according to the publishing industry's leading electronic data interchange (EDI) provider. Retailers can now trade EDI purchase orders and purchase-order acknowledgements with GLS via the distributors' point-of-sale system. The following publishers/imprints are included in the GLS distribution list: Gospel Light/Regal, Harrison House and the Inspirational Publishers Group.
“(Gospel Light Services) is a major player in the Christian book market,” said Charles Halpin, general manager of Pubnet. “We are pleased to offer their growing community of retail customers a more convenient way to order from them by using EDI.”
