The WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group has announced a partnership with Inspirational Publishers Group (IPG), a subsidiary of GL Services. On Feb. 19, IPG began providing sales representation for WaterBrook and Multnomah products to independent Christian stores nationwide “I am pleased and excited about the partnership with IPG,” said Stephen Cobb, president of the WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group. “We look forward to having both WaterBrook and Multnomah represented by one sales entity, which will allow independent Christian retailers to combine their product orders for a consolidated shipment from the Random House Distribution Center.” IPG also represents Crossway Books and Bibles, Gospel Light/Regal Books, Moody Publishers, Kregel Publications/Editorial Portavoz, Harrison House, Editorial Unilit, Oasis Audio and Christian Audio/Hovel Audio. Since 1994, GL Services has served Christian publishers and ministries through order fulfillment, distribution and information systems.
Based in Colorado Springs, Colo., the WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group is a division of Random House Inc. In August 2006, Random House acquired Multnomah Publishers and merged the imprint with WaterBrook Press. Random House is the largest English-language trade book publisher in the world.
