Grizzly Adams Productions (GAP) will present the world's first scientific 3-D holographic images of Jesus Christ during the National Religious Broadcasters Convention (NRB) in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 17-20. The fragile glass holographic images are to be featured in the new GAP documentary The Case for Christ's Resurrection. The three images were extrapolated from the reputed burial cloth of Jesus Christ known as the Shroud of Turin. The images include the face of Christ and the front and back images of His crucified body. NRB delegates visiting the GAP booth will be given 3-D viewing glasses to see the images and informational handouts explaining the new scientific findings discovered in the holographic images, said the documentary's Senior Producer David Balsiger. An expert on the holographic images and the Shroud of Turin will also be on hand to answer questions. Grizzly Adams Productions has acquired the TV/DVD rights to two books for the new documentary. The project is based in part on Resurrected: Tangible Evidence That Jesus Rose From the Dead (Ave Maria Press) by Gilbert R. Lavoie, M.D., and The Shroud of Turin: An Adventure in Discovery (Providence House) by Mary and Alan Whanger. The production will also use research information from a third book, The Case for Christ's Resurrection (Bridge-Logos), written by GAP executives David Balsiger and Charles Sellier.
The TV documentary DVD version is scheduled to release during Easter, while the TV special documentary will air on Christian networks/stations through broadcast license agreements.
