Christian Book Distributors (CBD) has purchased Best to You, a Colorado-based Christian catalog and Internet gift retailer, formerly a division of Cook Communications Ministries. The transaction is expected to close Jan. 2, a company statement said. Best to You has been in business for more than 25 years selling Christian-themed gift items and home accessories and featuring many exclusive products.

As part of the transition, the Colorado offices of Best to You will close, and some senior members of the staff will temporarily join CBD on a consulting basis, President Ray Hendrickson said. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

“Although CBD has had its own extensive and very successful gift and home product line for 10 years … the acquisition of Best to You will allow us to take the best attributes of each company's individual catalog and product offering and develop one line that continues the emerging strength in the Christian gift product line,” he said.

“Best to You has always focused on offering products that are encouraging and Christ-centered,” said Susan Riches, managing partner for Best to You. “I think our customers will be excited about the additional selection they will see very soon.”
