'Nativity' pulls in $9 million opening weekend Print Email

New Line Cinema's inspirational film The Nativity Story ranked No. 4 at the box office its opening weekend. The movie, which had a production budget of $35 million, pulled in a little over $9.01 million, plus $1.5 million on foreign screens, for a total of $10.51 million worldwide.

Movies that grossed higher than The Nativity Story remained unchanged from the previous weekend: Happy Feet was No. 1, Casino Royale was No. 2, and Déjà Vu was No. 3.
