STL/Appalachian Distributors has announced it will offer products from more major Catholic publishers, in response to increased requests from Christian stores. The Johnson City, Tenn., distributor now carries product from Catholic Book Publishing Co., Ave Maria Press, Regina Press, St. Anthony Messenger/Servant Books, Marian Press, New City Press, Crossroads Publishing, Ascension Press, Ignatius Press, Our Sunday Visitor, In the Arms of Mary, Troubadour for the Lord, St. Mary's Press and Word Among Us. “Many CBA stores already carry a core Catholic inventory, and our goal is to provide the best service possible,” said Robbie Edgar, general manager for STL/Appalachian. “Adding these respected publishers was a natural solution to the many requests we have received.”
Aiming to aid buyers in their selections, STL/Appalachian will provide a monthly list to interested accounts of new and core Catholic product in a list to be called the Catholic Merchandise Inventory Program. STL/Appalachian said it will continue to add Catholic publishers who best fit their customers' needs based on recent market research.
