New Growth Press has formed from Punch Press as the official publisher for the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF), to publish books, booklets and curriculum in the self-help and inspirational genres. The CCEF provides Bible-based counseling for individuals, and equips counselors with academic training, conferences, church support and publications. “Our authors confront the issues considered untouchable in some Christian circles,” said President Karen Jacklin, who assumed ownership of Punch Press in August, renaming it New Growth. “We offer biblical perspectives on these hard issues. The goal of our authors is to assist suffering people as they navigate the storms of life, encouraging them to experience new growth along the way.”
New Growth Press' authors include Paul Tripp, Graham Cooke, Marilyn Jeffcoat and David Powlison. Upcoming releases include Relationships: A Mess Worth Making by Timothy S. Lane and Paul David Tripp, Caught Off Guard: Encounters With the Unexpected God by William P. Smith and Depression: A Stubborn Darkness |
