Big Idea has announced the launch of the official Veggie Tales Radio Show, a 14-part radio series created from popular video episodes. The first episode, Gideon: Tuba Warrior, is to air Monday in select markets.

Renaissance Communications founder and President Joe Battaglia is producer of the radio series and was responsible for translating each of the VeggieTales episodes into a 30-minute audio format.

“We have always believed that a VeggieTales radio show would be core to Christian radio's desire for family-friendly entertainment, and will ultimately be embraced by radio in general,” Battaglia said.
