Scholastic and the American Bible Society (ABS) have expanded their agreement to create Bibles and Bible-related books and multimedia for children and families. Scholastic and ABS will collaborate in developing new Bible-related children's book titles, interactive DVDs and direct-to-home continuity programs for families.

Additional Bible-related children's books are to come following the success of Read and Learn Bible and My First Read and Learn Bible, including an interactive DVD based on New Testament stories. In addition, the direct-to-home division Scholastic At Home will launch a continuity program featuring books, games, music and activities.

“We are pleased to expand our successful relationship with the American Bible Society and continue to present Bible stories in formats that are accessible for children,” said Dick Robinson, chairman, president and CEO of Scholastic.
