A 13-episode docudrama series “Ancient Secrets of the Bible Collectors” from Grizzly Adams Productions (GAP) has been licensed to debut during Trinity Broadcasting Network's summer program schedule. The series “scientifically explores many of the Bible's most complex mysteries thought to be legends,” said Chuck Sellier, producer of the TV Collectors Series and president of GAP. “Provocative and surprising new evidence in the form of expert testimony, historical insights, new archaeological findings and scientific experiments confirm that controversial biblical stories are indeed factual and reliable accounts,” said David Balsiger, field producer and director on the series, as well as vice president of GAP. The series, based in part on two companion books titled The Incredible Discovery of Noah's Ark and Ancient Secrets of the Bible, is to air weekly on Wednesday nights beginning Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. PDT. It has aired on Discovery Channel worldwide and on the CBS-TV Network as numerous prime-time specials.
The “Ancient Secrets” series is targeted for family and church-related viewers, and has won 19 national awards-including Covenant, Telly, Film Advisory Board and Dove Family Approval Seal awards-GAP said in a statement.
