“People want to hear news, but they want to know, 'what does this mean to me biblically? Could this mean something more far-reaching than what we're seeing?' ” said Jackie Yockey, president of High Adventure Ministries, which operates Voice of Jerusalem radio.

Coverage of the Israel-Lebanon conflict lately has been a focus for Voice of Jerusalem. “We try to follow up on stories already abandoned by the secular press after the main headlines have faded,” said Jerusalem Bureau Chief Yuval Shomron. “We also look for stories which they ignore.”
