InterVarsity Press (IVP) has forged a publishing partnership with The Veritas Forum of Cambridge, Mass., to create a line of Veritas Forum Books. The line will include “books from established and emerging Christian thinkers engaging with the issues and questions of the university world and demonstrating the relevance and coherence of Christian truth to all of life,” IVP said in a statement. The Veritas Forum creates events on university and college campuses featuring speakers that discuss life's difficult questions and the relevance of Jesus Christ. Past speakers have included Dallas Willard, Mark Noll, Madeleine L'Engle and Os Guinness. The first book in the new line is Finding God Beyond Harvard by Kelly Monroe Kullberg, the founder of The Veritas Forum and editor of best-seller Finding God at Harvard. The book is scheduled to release in July.
“We are thrilled about the publishing partnership between InterVarsity Press and The Veritas Forum as we share a common vision to transform the university and its broader community,” said Dan Cho, executive director of The Veritas Forum. “This partnership will bring together InterVarsity Press's leadership in thoughtful publishing and The Veritas Forum's engagement with the ideas, faculty and students of the university.”
