Tyndale House Publishers and FaithMobile, the world's largest Christian-content based cellular content provider, have launched a partnership. FaithMobile will exclusively use the New Living Translation (NLT) for daily Scripture messages. Customers can receive daily devotions and customized Christian content through their cell phones. “We at FaithMobile all believe that the New Living Translation is ideal for the growing cellular service market,” said Martha Cotton, managing partner at FaithMobile. “It speaks to the heart of listeners in language they use every day, is concise, and connects with people of all ages.” Douglas Knox, senior vice president at Tyndale, said he believed the service would “help FaithMobile's customers grow spiritually and connect with God's Word. As people listen to and read the NLT every day on their cell phone, they will experience God's presence in their life in a new way. We believe the FaithMobile service will promote the purchase of Bibles and lead people to a stronger relationship with God.”
In addition to Tyndale House Publishers and FaithMobile, the new partnership also involves BarnaFilms, Promise Keepers, Extraordinary Women and Michelle McKinney Hammond, with other partnerships to be announced soon. FaithMobile's cellular content services are available through Cingular, T-Mobile, Alltel and any phone with “3G” capability. |
