Jadon Lavik, who released his sophomore effort Life on the Inside (BEC Recordings/EMI CMG) March 7, will be recognized with an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) award for the song “What If” as it was named one of the “25 Most Performed Christian Songs of 2005” by ASCAP. The award will be given at this year's ASCAP dinner ceremony on April 3 in Nashville. “What If” released on Lavik's 2005 debut Moving on Faith. Also from that album, “Let It Go” was used in the movie The Perfect Man starring Heather Locklear and Hilary Duff.
Lavik is currently on a 40-city tour with Rebecca St. James and BarlowGirl.
