John Hagee's Jerusalem Countdown: A Warning to the World (FrontLine) has sold more than 500,000 units in less than two months. Published under the Strang Communications imprint, the book released Jan. 17 with presales of 250,000 copies. As part of the continued promotional campaign for the book, 30-second national radio spots will begin March 20 on ABC Radio's The Sean Hannity Show, Westwood One's The O'Reilly Factor and Salem Radio's Janet Parshall's America. Jerusalem Countdown has been on the USA Today best-seller list for eight weeks and is currently ranked at No. 31, charted at No. 2 on the Publishers Weekly Religion best-seller list and debuted at No. 1 on the Christian Retailing Top 100 Books list for March 20. In the mass-market sales channel, the book has been the No. 1-selling inspirational title in Wal-Mart for eight weeks in a row. Recently, Hagee was interviewed by the conservative national weekly publication Human Events and has appeared on FOXNews' The Alan Colmes Show and C-SPAN's Book TV. In the book, Hagee, senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, shares detailed information that he has received from top Israeli government officials concerning a nuclear showdown between Iran and Israel.
