Writer and pastor Selwyn Hughes dies |

Selwyn Hughes, the founder of the Crusade for World Revival (CWR) and author of the “Every Day With Jesus” series of devotionals, died Jan. 9. He was 78. Hughes was ordained as an Assemblies of God minister and served many churches in the United Kingdom. CWR is an international organization that trains Christian counselors, leaders and workers both in the U.K. and elsewhere. It produces a number of Christian resources, including the “Every Day with Jesus” series, published in the U.S. by Broadman & Holman.
According to CWR, Hughes personally wrote every issue of Every Day With Jesus, only occasionally assisted by other writers. In addition to “Every Day with Jesus,” Hughes also authored other best-selling books, including Christ Empowered Living (2001) and The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success |
