'Narnia' narrowly reclaims top box-office spot |

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe narrowly grabbed the No. 1 spot at the box office for New Year's weekend, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. The C.S. Lewis epic edged out King Kong with a $33.7 million take, compared to Kong's $31.8 million. Narnia had dropped to No. 2 the previous week, below Kong. This weekend's haul brought Narnia's gross domestic sales to $228.3 million in the last 4 weeks.
The remainder of the top five spots were taken by Fun With Dick and Jane, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, and Rumor Has It
