's Web site now includes an area where Christian retailers and suppliers in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina can update how they are doing, if they were impacted by the storm and how they are helping victims of the hurricane (www.christianretailing.com/katrina).

The magazine's goal is to update the site daily as information comes in from retailers, publishers, suppliers, artists and authors.

The Web site has a link to ministries, organizations and agencies set up to help hurricane victims.

“We felt it was important to offer a place of communication and community for Christian retailers so they can share their experiences and need with other,” said Andy Butcher, editor of Christian Retailing. “One of the most difficult parts of the post-Katrina period has been the lack of information, and waiting to hear from those in the area.”
