Charisma

celebrates its 30th anniversary with the magazine's largest issue ever for the August edition. The 146-page anniversary issue features the cover story “Who Is the Holy Spirit?” The issue also takes a look back at the last 30 years of the charismatic movement and looks ahead with a profile of 30 emerging leaders in the Christian industry.

Featuring a contemporary redesigned look, the issue introduces new columnists who are respected and relevant Christian leaders, including James Dobson, T.D. Jakes, Gloria Copeland and Phil Cooke.

Charisma's anniversary issue will be spotlighted in an upcoming television ad campaign that will run for 13 weeks in 24 major media markets. Starting July 31, Charisma ads will be featured after Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church televised broadcast, which is viewed by more than 7 million people weekly.

The issue coincides with the magazine recently going on general-market newsstands. In June, Charisma, the largest monthly evangelical Christian magazine in the nation, became available in 184 retail chains, two leading pharmacies and Wal-Mart.

Charisma reports world news from a faith-based perspective to Christians worldwide. An award-winning publication, Charisma has a monthly circulation of 235,000 and is available in 97 countries. Vida Cristiana, a Spanish version of Charisma, has been published for 10 years and is available in 40 nations.

Charisma is the flagship publication of multimedia company Strang Communications, also the publisher of Christian Retailing.
