An upgraded version of Bookstore Manager's P.O.S. software, Retail Management Solutions Version 7.2, will release this fall.

A key enhancement to the software is the ability to manipulate data such as mailing lists and inventory reports in Excel spreadsheets and import the changes back into the P.O.S. system, according to Randy Voorhees, the company's founder. Bookstore Manager also has improved its software to make the returns process easier for retailers. A special button has been added for the EyeOnInventory inventory-management tool to assist participants in using this Web utility more efficiently and easily importing the information into their P.O.S. system.

The new version is a free upgrade for all current and future Bookstore Manager users who subscribe to the monthly maintenance plan. There are no additional fees, and no additional equipment is required. Demonstrations and an overview of the program will be given by Voorhees during the International Christian Retail Show.
