Higher Standard Publishers is launching a national distribution network for family and Christian literature. The company will distribute books, music and other items targeting African-Americans to urban businesses and churches. The company wants to assign a charter affiliate within each major city in America to provide support and follow-up to its customers. “We intend to place our book displays in establishments that our people frequent on a daily basis through point-of-sale affiliates who are the business owners themselves,” said William Owens, president and CEO.
