Strang Communications is preparing to carve out new territory in Christian fiction with the creation of a new imprint debuting this fall. Realms Fiction will present novels covering a variety of visionary subjects, including supernatural thrillers, fantasy adventure, time travel and alternative history, to CBA and general markets. The marketing of four introductory titles begins next month even though the novels won't release until Oct. 7. “Our books take you to realms you've never been before,” said Jeff Gerke, senior editor of Realms Fiction. “We believe we've identified a gap in Christian retailing. It's a type of fiction no other CBA publisher is concentrating on.” The first four books to be released by Realms are The Fall of Lucifer by Wendy Alec, Daughter of Prophecy by Miles Owens, Fallen From Babel by T.L. Higley and The Personifid Project by Ruth Bartlett.
A full story will appear in the May 2 issue of Christian Retailing. |
