Christian Publications Inc. (CPI) and Christian History Institute (CHI), a provider of Christian history resources, have signed an agreement to publish a line of Christian history titles. The agreement expands CPI's frontlist, supports CHI's entry into book publishing, and creates cross-marketing opportunities for both organizations. New titles to release this year include Great Women in Christian History, This Day in Christian History and Wesley Country. Through the agreement, CPI and CHI will benefit by sharing publishing costs and marketing efforts. CHI will promote the books through its retail channels, including catalogs that target thousands of individuals, churches, ministries and other organizations specifically interested in Christian history. Whenever possible, CHI will also cross-promote CPI's history-related backlist through these catalogs and other direct-mail and e-mail efforts.
CPI will showcase the new titles at major Christian book conventions and expos including CBA and the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.
