Steve Potratz, Parable founder and CEO, announced the recently-named board members for Parable's new franchising program.

The Board of Directors for Parable Franchise will set "the vision and policies for Parable franchisees, and helps establish and evaluate strategic objectives. The board will help build on the strength of the national Parable brand and will work together to maximize national advertising opportunities," according to a statement from the company.

Three Parable member storeowners are taking board positions-Michael Wall, Jim Kregel and Gary Woehrmann. Business leaders from outside the industry are Mike Isakson, president and COO of ServiceMaster Clean and Furniture Medic; Jeff Grubb, the managing director for U.S. Trust Company; and Greg Bunch, a senior consultant and lead facilitator at Brandtrust, a Chicago-based company that helps large corporations create their brand, including General Motors' Saturn.

Potratz will serve as chairman of the franchising board.

"This board brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and wisdom to Parable from having vast experience in Christian retail, national brand marketing and franchising," Potratz said. "All of these directors are leaders and they all bring a successful business background to the board."
