FOUR BOOKS RECEIVE SALES AWARDS AT PUB U Print Email

At the opening ceremonies of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's (ECPA) Publishing University last night, four awards were handed out for books that have reached sales landmarks.

Charisma House, a division of Strang Communications, received an award for Matters of the Heart by Juanita Bynum with 512,845 units sold. Stephen Strang, CEO of Strang Communications, was on hand to accept the award.

Dave DeWit, editorial director at Moody Publishers accepted his company's award for The Five Languages for Children by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell with 529,054 copies sold.

The platinum book award, for more than 1 million in sales, went to Regal Books for Victory Over the Darkness by Neil T. Anderson. Gospel Light President Bill Greig III accepted the award.

Bob Fryling, InterVarsity Press publisher, accepted a platinum award for Tyranny of the Urgent by Charles Hummel. The book has sold more than 1.1 million copies.
