Nizynski-CRBest15-webLighthouse Christian Products (LCP) highlighted the 10th anniversary of Amelia Nizynski, the company’s creative and design director. Praise poured in as LCP celebrated Amelia’s contribution to the company and to the Christian gift industry.

“Since Amelia joined Lighthouse, we have grown every year, including this year,” said Ed Nizynski, vice president of sales. “Our gifts are now sold in over 23 countries, and I’m sure more than we know. We have gone into at least one new gift category each year since she has been with us.”

Prior to her work with LCP, Amelia managed several LifeWay Christian Stores locations. She later worked in merchandising and concluded her time at LifeWay as the chain’s senior gift buyer.

Angela Bauer, a buyer at LifeWay, worked closely with Nizynski on the chain’s gift-buying team.

“It was a pleasure to work alongside you, watching you share and live out your faith,” Bauer said. “You are an amazing young woman, gifted with creativity and blessed with insight, especially when it comes to Christian product. Your love for the Lord and your gift of sharing His Word with others is contagious. You can see your influence played out on the amazing products that you helped to develop through the years.”

A former buyer with Family Christian Stores, Tom Spoelstra also appreciated working with Amelia.

“I admired you as a buyer, respect you as a business partner, value you as a friend and aspire to follow your lead as a spiritual leader,” Spoelstra said. “You are a great person to work with, always responsive, a great listener and a fount of outstanding inspirational ideas. Your knowledge of the gift industry, of the Christian gift customer and how scripture can be used to enrich the lives of your customers is as good as there is. You cannot know how many lives you touch by what you do.”

Jeff Bruenning of The Parable Group spoke of Amelia’s product expertise and commitment to the CBA stores.

“Your eye for trends, design and message is so spot on,” Bruenning said. “I especially appreciate that scripture on products is not an afterthought; rather, it appears the Word comes first and then the product is designed around it. This approach delivers products to our customers that has potential for true spiritual impact. Thank you. In addition, I value your commitment to the CBA channel and the retailers you serve. You and the team at Lighthouse are not just one of our vendors, you are our friends, and that relationship is one we sincerely value.”

Munce Group President Kirk Blank spoke of Ed and Amelia as a great husband-wife team.

“I prayed that God would give Ed someone as special as he is, and He did,” Blank said. “But the added blessing was that you, Amelia, were able to add your ideas, expertise and enthusiasm to Lighthouse Christian Products. It wasn’t long before we saw the results of your talents, and the industry has been better for it ever since.”

Amelia’s character and work has had a positive impact on the international markets as well.

“Ever since you have come aboard, the direction of the products have started to change, for the better with more color and more modern designs,” said Rob Ronday, national gift buyer with Australia Christian retailer Koorong. “You are such delight to work with, and I always look forward to catching up and seeing your new designs.”

Along with celebrating Amelia’s anniversary, the team at Lighthouse is anticipating connecting with customers at the January Atlanta and Dallas market shows.

“It's where you'll find the upbeat and purpose-driven retailers, always a joy,” Ed Nizynski said. “We are introducing several new gift lines and gift categories and are excited to show our customers.”
