A publishing imprint of eChristian, eChristian Books released Compelling Interest: The Real Story Behind Roe v. Wade. Written by media producer Roger Resler, the January title explains how the case originated, the logic used to legalize abortion and the current state of the pro-life movement. To make his case, Resler draws on original sources, including transcripts of oral arguments. The book is available in softcover, e-book, audio CD and audio digital download formats.

Vision Video has released Into My Arms, a one-hour documentary co-produced by Julie Woodley, certified trauma counselor and director of Restoring the Heart Ministries. The DVD examines the post-abortion trauma of five individuals by way of personal interviews and counselor comments.

Featuring commentary from John Eldredge, Diane Langberg, Christopher West, Jan Frank and others, Into My Arms is designed for women who have either experienced or are contemplating having an abortion, and for care-giving organizations that provide services or education to women.

The DVD also aids professionals and service organizations who want to evaluate the more extensive, 10-part Into My Arms counseling series, produced for counselors who lead therapy or support groups for women experiencing post-abortion trauma.

The documentary has been broadcast on Christian channels and is currently scheduled to air Jan. 25-26 on the Catholic TV Network (www.catholictv.com).

CrossBooks, the self-publishing imprint of B&H Publishing Group, is releasing today A Surrendered Life: Finding Freedom, Healing and Hope After Abortion. The author, Patricia K. Layton, who had an abortion at 23, counsels women experiencing post-abortion issues and is the founder of Life Impact Network.

Layton’s Surrendering the Secret Bible study inspired an online reality series that follows a group of women through the healing process in a Surrendering the Secret abortion recovery Bible study. Surrender the Secret, the program from KnockTV, will air its first online episode today. Click here for a preview.
