Eldredge DVD study due in September

John Eldredge's Fathered by God (Thomas Nelson) is getting the DVD study treatment Sept. 29, a few months before the author's debut book with Doubleday Books releases.

Released April 21, Fathered by God--a repackage and revision of Eldredge's The Way of the Wild Heart (2006, Thomas Nelson)--was the subject of a three-week speaking tour the author conducted in April-May. The study will feature 3- to 6-minute introductions from Eldredge followed by 15-20 minutes of a men's small group led by the author in a "band of brothers"-type setting.

Thomas Nelson will also release repackaged versions of Eldredge's Captivating and Wild at Heart DVD discussions, featuring new pricing. The Fathered by God Small Group Video Series, which includes a CD-ROM of promotional items, will retail for $39.99 and a softcover participant's guide will be available for $9.99 each.

In December, Doubleday will release Love and War: Finding the Marriage You've Dreamed Of by Eldredge and his wife, Stasi.
