Rebecca St. James receives Schuller Award

GRAMMY Award and multiple Dove Award winner Rebecca St. James has been named a recipient of the 2009 Arvella Schuller Award.

St. James was presented with the award--which recognizes artistic excellence in the promotion of Christian values through music, film and the mass mediums of the arts and entertainment--by Robert Schuller at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Calif., March 18.

Besides St. James, Hollywood film composer Mark McKenzie--whose credits include musical composition and scoring for numerous award-winning films, including Dances With Wolves, The Patriot, Sleepless in Seattle, Spiderman and Spiderman 2, Men in Black, Batman Returns and Goodwill Hunting--was also a recipient of the Schuller Award.
