Integra Interactive has announced that the digital media company’s myMEDIA BurnBar (MMBB) in-store burning systems recently hit a milestone.

On Dec. 29, MMBB surpassed burning 200,000 CDs and DVDs, which included music, audiobooks, video games and software titles, company officials said.

In its first 12 months of operation, MMBB burned nearly 100,000 discs. MMBB took less than six additional months to reach the 200,000 mark. “At our current rate of growth, we project burning over 250,000 discs in 2009,” said David Amster, chief innovation officer of Integra.

During the last two months, MMBB was upgraded to handle burning Logos Bible Software titles. Integra also recently signed a digital distribution agreement with Curb Records and agreements with several movie distribution companies.

More than 320 Christian retailers have installed MMBB, with more than 200 vendors and music labels partnering with Integra to provide content for the systems.

Integra is the Christian retail channel’s largest provider of shopper touchpoint systems with nearly 650 Christian retailers using more than 1,500 interactive shopper screens. Additionally, Integra has designed more than 900 Christian stores.
