The songs of Nicole C. Mullen are brought together in Nicole C. Mullen: The Ultimate Collection, which released June 2 on Word Records (Word Distribution). The album includes 20 of Mullen’s most popular songs, including “Redeemer,” “On My Knees” and “Call on Jesus,” arranged in order of their release. The album, which also features a career retrospective in its liner notes.

Super Bowl XLI champion Ben Utecht, tight end formerly with the Indianapolis Colts and now with the Cincinnati Bengals, released his self-titled debut music project on Stylos Records (Word Distribution). The album includes a song co-written with Jeremy Camp (“Rescue Me”) and a duet with Sandi Patty (“We All Bow Down”).

Stryper returns: Next month, 25 years after its debut project, The Yellow and Black Attack! (Enigma Records), was released, newly reunited metal group Stryper, one of the first Christian bands to receive mainstream airplay, returns with Murder By Pride (Big 3 Records/EMI CMG Distribution). Songs include “Mercy Over Blame,” “Alive” and “My Love.”

Integrity Music releases Rumors and Revelations (Provident-Integrity Distribution) from Glenn Packiam on June 23. The album is the solo studio debut from Packiam, who is a founding member of the Desperation Band and worship pastor for New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Also from Integrity, singer-songwriter Don Poythress releases Wash Away (Provident-Integrity Distribution) on June 23. The album, featuring songs like “Expectation” and “Before the Throne of God Above,” was recorded live at Nashville’s Christ Church and features Paul Baloche and Ricky Skaggs.

Rocking in the USA: Norwegian rock foursome Dreampilots releases Comedown (Red Hammer Records/distributor to be determined), June 16. The album is the group’s debut U.S. release.
