Scott Macdonald, president of Lemstone, the franchise operation with Christian stores in 15 states, has been elected to the board of CBA, the trade association announced yesterday.

Macdonald was selected to fill the national chain and franchise retailer position left vacant by the recent resignation of Les Dietzman, president of Berean Christian Stores, who left the post for personal reasons.

A second new board member is J. Randolph Smith, an entertainment attorney whose practice focuses on entertainment, intellectual property rights and the arts. He replaces Michael Covington, who stepped down when he left Christian retailing to join the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association as information and education director.
